Strengthening those who are spreading the gospel

• Jesus was disappointed by most of humanity, yet He continued to have close relationships.  (Luke 19:41)
• Paul was disappointed several times (churches of Galatia, Mark, Demas), yet he continued to have close relationships.

1. Think about good stuff.  Disappointments are plentiful, but they do not build up.  Move on.  (Philippians 4:4 – 9).
2. Connect with like-minded people (1 Thessalonians 1 – 3, especially 3:1 – 3 and 2:17)
3. Expect joy (Acts 20:17 – 38, especially 24)
4. Pray for them (Philippians 1:4, Colossians 1:11)
5. Visit (2 John 13, 2 John 12)
6. Look at the bright side (2 Corinthians 2:3)
7. Boast about them (2 Corinthians 7:4, 7:16, 1 John 1:4)
