People define faith in many ways. A simple, non-religious substitute is “trust.” To have faith is to trust God. Trust Him for what? Most people are not aware of the many promises God has made, so they have no basis for their trust. But how are those promises found? The word, promise, is used only a few times. We find the promises by reading the New Testament, looking for statements of fact from God that describe something we would not ordinarily expect to happen.
